Euro side repeater lights
Anyone installed euro side repeaters on their car
got a nice set of euro side repeater lights and lenses set up, including the wiring harness to the ligths..Does anyone know if the connector to the wiring harness is up under the dash, it's just a 2 prong connector, like one in the rear tailights area..was not sure if they incorporated some of the euro light connectors into the US harness..would be a plus if they did..haven't had a chance to get int here and check..

I am about to do the same, since these lamps are legal requirement here in Europe and I have a car imported from the US, so I would also be very interested in the solution. Looking at the wiring diagrams, it does seem like the side repeaters may be connected to the wiring going to the rear, which may or may not be logical.

I have done some investigations (this is for a LHD vehicle).
On the RH (passenger) side there is a cable going to the ABS actuator located in the wing (fender), so it is easy to route the cable to inside the passenger compartment along the same path. However, the wiring for the main indicators seems to be located only on the driver's side, so the wiring needs to be routed also from the RH to the LH side of the dashboard. On the LH side, for a similar arrangement, a hole needs to be drilled in a similar location as the existing hole on the RH side, with suitable rust protection and grommet. Alternatively, on both sides, the cable can be routed from the side repeater to the front indicators over the wheel, and join it there. A challenge may be how to best secure the cable, I really want to avoid drilling holes here. Also, the wiring is somewhat more exposed to the elements, but would be protected behind the inner liner. No, it does not look as though the US model has the connectors for the Euro side repeater lights.
US chassis harness is P/N: 951.612.006.01 (85.5) 006.05 (86) 006.10 (87) 006.19 (88) 006.34 (89-91) Euro Chassis harness is P/N: 951.612.006.00 (85.5) 006.04 (86) 006.09 (87) 006.18 (88) and 006.28 (89-91)

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly are "repeater" lights? I've never heard the term.
Are they the kind of turn signal indicators that that have several sections which light up in sequence, starting from the inside, working their way to the outside?
