Front & Rear Sidemarker Lense gaskets/orings!!
Hi guys,
If you followed me through the last 10 years, I tinker with Porsche's for fun & every now & then stumble upon a subtle demand. After painting my 944 Turbo S, I tried to replace all the exterior rubber only to find that Porsche (nor anyone else) sells the rubber gaskets that seal all four side marker lenses: you have to purchase the entire lense at +$38/each just to get a good gasket! Poppycock. So, After 6 months I've finally ready to release my own re-seal o-ring kit for the 944/924S sidemarkers: All four seals for $25 (most likely), easy installation, great sealing, perfectly sized. If you're interested, let me know via this forum please. PelicanParts sells my DIY ignition wire kits and of course I'd prefer that they sell my lense re-seal kits: in-stock availability to you, Pelican's incredible reputation, etc. If Pelican is not ready to carry this product yet, I will sell the kits through my site, eBay, here, just to get the word out, but let me know if you're interested by shouting here on this thread. Thanks!! (notice there are no gaskets on my rear lense? Of course not, the car's too shiny. ![]() Mark ![]()

I've never noticed the seals on ebay and I buy good used parts when they are not way over priced. I prefer to buy from our fellow PP gents here and have NEVER been stung nor unhappy by them. I could name them, but most are on here frequently. A Big Thank You goes out to them.
Cheers, Larry

I'm a vendor for Pelican Parts, so it's ok. They don't carry them due to low volume, but I have a few sets in stock at all times.

The only944 seal seems too thick to me. When installed the lens is no longer flush, even after the rear clamps are fastened. Has anyone else found that to be the case?
