One connector on DME temp sensor?
Could explain why the car runs like crap when cold, but where is the second pin? My turbo has both pins. I don't think that this is stock/normal? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1308355153.jpg

That;s the sensor for the temp gauge on the dash....just rewire it..the sensor that has the blue top is the engine sensor for the DME..DME temp sensor II

cut back the grey plastic and see if there is another wire in there..one is signal and one is ground and get new spade connectors on both whiole your at it..easy

Ohh I mixed up the sensors. :( |
The early cars only had a 1-pin temp sensor. The other pin is for the idiot light which the early cars dont have. Cut the old connector off and solder on a new one.. i bet it is way inaccurate right now with the wiring in the shape its in.

The Duck is right. Early temp sensors have a flat circle on top of the brass plug on which you slide the connector. Make sure the connector is tight and the brass fitting is CLEAN and you should be good to go.
