Are you asking about the Stainless Steel door sills that I see on the car in your photo? If so, then I am also looking for these. I should have bib on one of the several sets thay had on ebay in late 2001. I've been looking for them to reappear and they have not yet resurfaced. There are the plastic stick-on kind that come in different colors and are offerd by 9Xauto.com. But, I've heard that these are not very good. Again if it's the SS Door Sills that you are looking for; I want a set too.

I just bought a couple pair (two 944's) one set for a 944 and the other for a turbo, they're stainless, but brushed with script. Since the moderators here, and rightly so,have asked not to give other supplier names on THEIR board I can give you the info if you wish to e-mail me for it. jhojlo@attbi.com they are about $54- without the freight and I think if you check the rennlist boards there may be a picture of sill guards. They're from England. I think these that are pictured look great but are not real practical since they will show the least scrape, whereas the brushed will be more durable. (my 2 cents worth) Very impressed with the quality and finish of what I got.

If the wrath of God strikes me dead for this, who's goin to keep my wife from smokin' the tires on the turbo, cause she CAN!!!. Anyway here we go www.prestigeparts.co.uk/ by the way these took about the same time as U.S. parts delivered UPS ground. They are solid stainless, with a satin black sort of overlay in the die cut name or numerals as indicated. Be sure if you do this that you have'em well positioned when you put them down, cuz if it's clean they aren't moving again in your lifetime.

Way to go 2Coupes! They are exactly what I've been waiting for. Now to check the time differential and currency conversion, then I'll be able to make the call.
You did say that when you lay them down they WILL stick and there's no moving them. ANY TIPS on how to do this the right way? |

Your best bet is to order via fax with a credit card # and your info etc. It cost me $25- for shipping on two sets @ $54- per set and the conversion hasn't changed since then. (3 weeks ago) As for putting them down, clean the sills well with something like goof-off and wipe dry. Position the sills exactly where you want them. They have a beveled end that can only go one way,but there's a tad of play so I put down a piece of tape at that end. You may find they don't lay perfectly flat so I put a little pressure on mine to slightly tweek them from perfectly flat to form fitting. Once done, remove adhesive protector and start laydown from beveled end(tape) and push down and in as far as you can. Once in place, remove shoes and stand on them to assure complete contact. Step back pat yourself on back and admire !!!

Hey guys I am working with a local, USA, compamy to make these parts. They will not have the Porsche written on them since there are copy write issues when you do this and they were not able to get Porsche to allow it.
They will be brushed St.St. You can then take them to some one and have them engraved if you want. Either way they will look much better than a scuffed up door sill and the brushed surface will not show scratches as much as polished ones. The first few people to sign up will get a reduced rate. Anyone interested let me know Eric Eric.Lynch@itt.com
