Early '85 944 erratic not start issues
After a couple of weeks of sitting, my 944 won't start. I charge the battery and it fires right up, runs with a sluggish throttle where it cuts out at about 2,000rpms for about a quarter of a mile, and then it runs perfect and starts for weeks.

I figured this out today. Its was the battery.
