Quick cargo space question:
Will a box that is 24"x24" x 18" high fit in a 944 without rubbing the defroster wires? (seat folded down, of course).
Thanks, Tony |

Surely everyone keeps a 24" by 24" by 18" box in anticipation of being asked this question.Actually the really sensitive types would have tried this out already so as to have the answer immediately available to whomsoever should enquire.

Is the box cardboard? American or European spec?

Surely anyone with a tape measure and their 944 near by would simply measure 24 inches back from the seatbacks (folded) and 18 inches up, and see if it is above the line of the glass or not. Obviously, among the elements of 944, tape measure, simple measuring ability, a few spare minutes, and inclination to do a kind deed for a fellow enthusiast, no one who viewed this thread had all of those!
What is a European spec box? And for the record, it's about 19" floor to roof, and you have less than a foot going back before the glass begins to slope down.
