I tried this in the paint and bodywork forum with no replies, figured I'd throw it up here:
I have a U.S. model 968, and I am looking to put a Turbo S style chin spoiler on it. I can only seem to find that product for 944 turbo cars; are they the same part? I know that they are very similar. If they are not identical, does anyone know where I can find a 968 chin spoiler? Thanks!

there are a few different ones out there, from fiberglass and carbon fiber replicas of the porsche motorsport splitter you speak of to a complete unit by strosek that replaces the lower front apron
the real deal is available from gert at carnewal in belgium - they are not sold here in the states |

Any idea where I can get a fiberglass or carbon fiber unit here in the states? I would prefer to avoid the shipping from Belgium if possible, and it is for a driver, so I'm not too concerned with having the original. Thanks for your help.

You're going to want to go OEM for these; check ebay, genuine ones appear from time to time. The fiberglass or c/f pieces don't last long on the street unless you're stock ride height and really, really careful.

drumboxer...CPR (member name) on Rennlist is making spoilers out of a high density plastic...way better than fibreglass.

front splitter
Hello - It has been a while, but I can't find CPR to inquire about this front spoiler.
Do you know if he is still around and how I might contact him? Thanks. |

Nope, CPR has ceased production of these parts.
