Tranny/diff fluid
I bought 4 quarts of Redline MT90 the other day but I am not sure what to do with it now.
I was reading the back of the bottle and it said it shouldn't be used in rear diffs. I'm not sure but I thought the tranny and diff shared oil. If so, can I still use the Redline and not have any problems? If not, any reccomendations on diff oil? I have a locking diff by the way.

You're right about trans & dif using the same oil. I think redline recommends MT90 for transaxles, like a Porsche has, but I would contact them to be sure.

It should be less than 3 quarts for the NA 944, I have a 951 tranny with the cooler so it took more [a bit over 3 quarts]. Have fun with the silky-smooth tranny afterwards.
