air flow meter questions
So I am testing my AFM and it does have 8volts going to the connector but once plugged into the AFM I have 0 volts. My Haynes manual say replace the AFM. My question is if I refurbish the AFM as per FRwilks instructions will it fix the problem?
you might recall that I have a starts but only runs two seconds deal going on. Thanks to anyone who can help; TJ |

Rebuild it by "F.R. Wilks" (A good method). Have you been into it ? To see if the wiper foot is making contact, may be time to bend it ? Also check out the throttle position sensor for good contact - clean terminals,etc., or replace. Could be other things going on also - how long since the fuel filter has been changed out?
