How bad is this, valve job?

Was so proud to be replacing fuel line myself. 88 911 220,000 miles. First the fuel line rubber hose ruptured by inj fuel rail. Removed the intake manifold to send orig fuel line to Mr. Hippe in Fla for recond. Pulled the injectors while there for reconditioning. The intake valve #4 which luckily was closed has this puddle of oil in the photo. All others appear dry, but when I opened valve to check the play, there was none, the oil drains out and u see the carbon on the lower valve seat. This wiped away easily, see last picture I think next is to remove exhaust valve cover and check for play. Could this be a bad stem/guide seal. I am not sure how to proceed. What the fate of my daily driver, or used to be. Thanks for such knowledgeable help. Glenn

Your problem is easy. Not enough coolant. Make sure the car is topped off with coolant and you should be ready to go.
