Tach no worky at idle
Pulled the instrument cluster a couple of weeks ago to replace the light bulbs and odometer gear , while taking the cluster out I broke one of the clips on the lower, right connector, anyway the Tachometer has always worked fine but now it won't read the rpm while at idle , could it be related to the broken clip on the connector? can the clip be replaced?
What else can it be? Thanks for your all your help Leonel |

I have found that those clips break easy and can easily be replaced - There may not be the correct contact for the Tach. to work properly with the pressure clip broken - The Tach. is controlled by that connector - Spread the upper and lower flanges of the connector to remove the old pressure arm buttons, and do same for replace.
Place a wanted add with what you need - I have done this exact same and received good replies, and replaced just the broken lever/clip.
