Backfiring?
My 84 944 backfired a couple times tonight deaccelerating. It happened at quite rpms around 4500. Anyways is this a sign of somesort of problem or just something that can happen from time to time

Your engine may be running too rich. Have your O2 sensor checked. That's my guess!!

I had the same problems...earlier this year..I changed my o2 sensor...fixed it.-chris
