83 944 SPAX Suspen. - Tires rub

I have a 83 944 with the SPAX suspension kit. When I installed it a year ago, I had no problems with tires rubbing. However, my tires where 205 55 15 I believe. I remember they where smaller than the rears. However, on the gas cap the recommended tire size is 215 60 15. I have those size tires and it rubs like crazy when I have full lock or take a sharp turn at speed. It rubs on the inside of the wheel well, against the firewall. I have been driving a few days with these tires and it rubbed so crazy it went to bare metal. Any one have these problems? Should I go back to a smaller tire?

ALSO!

The kit says it lowers the front by 30mm but the front is MUCH lower than before. I want to know if others have had similar results. Thanks!

Is the suspension adjustable? can you raise it up? What are the alignment settings? How much negative camber is there? A picture or two could certainly help.
