DME chip change
Hi,
On my 1987 951 (944 Turbo) I would like to change the DME chip. Currently my car has got a so called STAGE 2 chip, but I like to tune it back to its original specification and thus the original chip. Is there any special procedure that needs to be followed when changing the chip? Is it just 1 chip that needs to be changed or 2, because my car came with the additional original chips (2 pieces) Thanks for your help! PT |

You need to replace the 2 chips (951's had 2 chips, 044's had one)
Lots of luck finding one, unless you can find someone here who has changed theirs and is willing to part with the originals, I don't forsee you having much success. AFJuvat |

I can burn you an original set if you'd like. Do you have the 24 pin type and what type of stage 2?
