You put it in your gas tank.

Swepco 503 is a fuel injector cleaner.

I used some injector cleaner a few weeks back in an attempt to clear up a slight engine stutter I could feel and hear when idling and under very gentle acceleration. Didn't feel any difference at all, and it did no good, so I deduced from this that it's probably an electrical problem of some sort?

Must do something good in the long run though....

What year model do you have deeks? Could it be the infamous 944 engine shudder? Try doing a search for that.... my car has "the shudder" and it can be fixed by upgrading the dme computer... it's a few hundred dollars.

In my experience, I have found that Fuel Injection cleaner basically does nothing. If you run it in your car when the injectors are already clean - it helps keep them that way - but if the injectors are dirty enough to make you think about buying the cleaner - it never works.

Think of it this way. If you have a bathtub full of water and put in a couple of glassfulls of Vodka - will the bathwater taste like Vodka? No.

There is some liquid "system" that cost about $100 that will work. I had REALLY dirty fuel injectors on my Sidekick. Put a bunch of expensive cleaners thru the engine - nothing. Then I took it to this place and they put liquids in just about every hole I could see in the engine and BAM - the car worked like it had a new engine. They used this "system" I'm talking about.
