Ernie It must have been an early option that became standard later, unless it is part of the alarm package.
Both my 968's and the 951 have that part installed.

Zims Autotecknic in Dallas. I didn't call them to see if they have it but they usually do or can get it fairly quick.

If the dealership doesn't have it, one of the "dismantlers" may have one.

Mine on the passenger side was missing. Got it from the Porsche dealer in Evansville, IN. I found it damaged the plastic blower cover and hangs up on the wiper blade when I open the hood. I don't see any adjustment for it.
