Hm I honestly cannot answer that question. I don't know what celeb cars usually go for, but at first glance, yeahhh pretty overpriced. Its usage in a show whose title is meaningless to current generations only affords it so much mark-up.

Also, "This is not a turbo which is a good thing as this year the turbo was
nothing but trouble." The car in question was a 1984. Porsche Fail.

I noticed that year problem too.

On another note, does anybody know how often this car was used in the show? I have searched many times for it and never found an episode where it was shown even a little bit.

He spray painted the hole engine bay black along with the airbox and MAF witch looks to me like the cover is missing on it. Or the picture is just bad.

All I have to say is... WOW. Wow.

I guess some people are still fanatical about Miami Vice... It was a fine show for the 80's. I still remember that girl's butt in the intro. Remember? Yellow bikini with red dots. Mm. That butt is burnt into the back of my brain.

That cover is definitely AWOL. How much would anyone actually spend for this?

Or he will trade for another $19,000 sports car.

Maybe I'll ask my friend if he wants to trade his $19,000 Fiero for a $19,000 Porsche.

I'd go for it in a minute - but only if he'd throw in a week with Don Johnson's ex-wife - Melanie Griffith. God, I been in love with her since she seduced Paul Newman in Harper... Little vixen.

Pictures & Photos of Melanie Griffith - IMDb

Yeah, I know she's married to Antonio Banderas right now, so it might be somewhat difficult to negotiate. But hey - you never ask, you never'll know one way or the other!

That'd be like $18,000 for a week with Melanie and $1,000 for the car - that's fair!

Hey Tonio! ¿Cómo está usted? Podemos hablar por unos minutos? Tengo una cuestión de honor que me gustaría hablar ...

God! Brilliant!!! That's a wonderful idea: punching holes in your air box so it can suck hot engine air! Probably worth 2-5 HP reduction at least!

God, I'm gonna do that to mine right now...

I'm sure i said $9700 in the ad, probably price reduced because the jacket is no longer included.
