New Tires for my '88 944
It's time for new tires for my 1988 944. The current tires are 215/60R15 all around. I was thinking about getting 225/50R15 as replacements. Would that size work, and would there be acceleration, handling, speedo accuracy, or any other concerns?

Look for a "tire calculator" Tire size calculator
The proposed tire is "shorter".. so 1) Speedo will read too high 2) Ride will be more harsh due to shorter sidewall. 3) Handling may feel improved due to shorter sidewall and wider tread. That said, most folks "upgrade" to this size when they want newer, "stickier" tires.
