What is this access plate for
I don't want to open a can of worm, does anyone know what this access plate is for?

Unlikkely to be any worms in there except perhaps tin-worm

Probably something fuel-related, is all I can imagine. I don't know for sure though.

Fuel Expansion tank. So do all cars have this?
