My hatch is stuck shut
So I was trying to unfreeze my stuck hatch pins the other day and now my hatch is stuck shut on the right side only (I probably forgot to move the retaining nuts where they were supposed to go). Any ideas besides crawling into the hatch area and take it apart from the inside?

I don't think the nuts would cause the hatch to not open. You will probably have to crawl back to get the hatch open. My guess would be that the lock isn't opening all the way. If the nuts holding the lock on the right side aren't tight enough the lock can rotate. If this happens the key lock won't open the right side lock all the way. To get the hatch open crawl back and remove the carpet and push the white lock arm with your hand. That will manually open the lock and the hatch should open easily.

Well I had to take the undercovers off and I found the problem; the right hatch pin was kinked probably because I didn't put the hatch pins back in their holder properly before putting it all back together. A little push on the pin and the hatch popped open.
Now I have my stainless steel hatch pins installed (the hatch pin seats arrived today from Pelican)! One more thing off the list! Loving this car. GHEN
