So I decoded my VIN and it says my 944 is a sport model.
Are all 944's considered sport models?

Where? Club Sport? You would know if it was a CS

Under engine/body type it says "S Coupe (USA Specs)"

Maybe it stands for 944S ( S being super not sport) .Is yours a 944S 16 valve or an 8 valve ?
