Yep, even my long piano fingers couldn't get to it with the manifold on.
Just take your time and it will be fine. Might be a good idea to have a few manifold gaskets on hand just in case.

Nice picture Toran.
You have to do a few WYAIT (while you are in there) repairs. New AOS seals New dip stick "O" ring Should do new hoses front and rear of the ICV and new clamps New Injector seal kits a must. Clean the ICV valve-inside carefully New intake gaskets-4 Replace all Oetiker OEM clamps with new or good substitute. New vacuum hoses and "T"s. Check hoses to the intake "J" tube. John

That's a little intimidating.. then again I guess it's hundreds of times easier than a clutch job

I'm not a wrencher either but I did it.
It doesn't require any fancy tools, just pace yourself and have plenty of time. Take a few pictures of how stuff looks before removing it so you can reference later.

I'd like to say I'm a wrencher! Just novice... speaking of which, time to go replace the 26 year old O2 sensor!

It can be removed without taking the intake manifold off but it's much easier and faster to remove the intake, found that out the hard way.
I've had bad luck with the ICV ,cleaned it the first time and it lasted only 1 year and after that replaced it 3 times ,the second time being with a new one that turned out to be faulty off the shelf. Took my intake manifold off maybe 10 times now for various jobs and went through a set of bolts. The while your in there jobs are a must if you want to avoid removing it so many times.
