The right coolant for the job
Question, just purchased a new radiator locally a few moments ago and will drop it in tonight. What type of coolant is the proper type? I find conflicting posts in the arcive. Being an X-GM wrench I would always use Dexcool on aluminum blocks and radiators. But when I drained this system it was just the green stuff. Which should I use?

Do a search on Dexcool on the internet and read what the manufacturer says about it and for what vintage cars it is recommended.

You can get dexcool at any auto parts store, runs about 7 per gallon, most are good for 5 year/50000 warranty
