Setting Chain Timing on 944S
 

Hi, Guys.
I have a Porsche that broke a timing belt or possibly the timing chain, and bent all the valves. So I got a cylinder head and new shafts, already had the head serviced (valve grind, stem seals replaced, guides replaced, surfaced), and now ready to install the new head. I also replaced the pads on the chain tensioner, and got a new chain.

So now I don't know how to set the timing of the cams with the chain. Are there special marks on the cams that show me in what position that cams must be for me to install the chains?

I did this on mine a while back, bought a car with bent valves. It's a bit of a pain to get it all lined up, but hang in there, follow the manual and you'll get it :) 4200 miles later and car running like a champ :)
