stupid hardware question for the rear hatch

ok.. long story short, I took my hatch off, three years later I'm now putting it back on, however I'm not sure if I have all/the right hardware. So I've got four Allen head bolts, four washers and three split lock washers... I took one of the bolts off of my parts car and it has no washers of any kind and is about twice as long? /: I just don't want to be driving down the road and have it launched off the back of the car.. So to sum up, do I use just the bolts? bolts and washers? or bolts washers and split washers? if its the last I'll need to go to the hardware store and pick up an extra split washer

I looked for the diagram in the parts catalog and wasn't able to find that assembly.

Thanks Alan, guess I'll be making a run into the hardware store /:
