resistor ?ohm ?% tolerance on speedo board?

1986 944 NA Auto trans.

Anybody know or know where to find what the OHM and tolerance values are for the resistor I have circled on the pictures below of the circuit board that is at the very bottom of the speedometer and odometer?
It is fried so I think I finally found out what caused my speedometer and odometer to stop working (after replacing the sensor and checking all the wires).
I could also use some help on figuring out what caused it to burn like that.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Tolerance of the resistor is determined by the last band - Silver means 10%, gold is 5% tolerance Lack of a metallic band means 20%

If you can make out the color bands, post them here and I can figure out the ohm value

That's the whole problem, when it fried it baked the paint black. I tried to be real careful and scratch some off, but all of it came off since it was burned through.
I even took it out hoping that there would be some paint left on the bottom side, but no luck.
I have a whole bunch of resistors, but don't know which would be a good bet.
Any suggestions?

Sorry, the electrical diagrams for the car do not specify the internal values for the speedo. You may have some luck measuring it with an ohmeter.

Would the OHMs still read correctly since it was burnt?

I have an old speedo torn apart at the house. would you like me to look at the board?
when your speedo stopped working, did the cruise stop working also?
My speedo just stopped working a few weeks ago and I'm trying to decide where I want to start looking for the problem. All of the other guages work and I don't know if the cruise brain gets its data from the speedo or directly from the sensor.
