For the folks coming from Tampa and/or I75, the usual meet up place is at the Cracker Barrel parking lot off I4/579...

6150 Lazy Days Boulevard
Seffner, FL 33584

My usual route is I4E to toll-417 to 434... some nice cruising roads to enjoy the ride. Highly recommend a sunpass to roll through the toll plazas!

We're going to want to be there earlier so you can check out the rides and chat with fellow owners. I believe last time we rallied up at 0730 for an 0745 departure time.

If you're thinking about going, PM your contact info. We can discuss and post up here who's planning on meeting at Cracker Barrel...

Jason

Thanks again Jason for setting up the Tampa area pre-meet!

I will definitely be there. If anyone from NE Florida wants to caravan down with me and Wendell, let me know and we will set up a place to meet. ......Terry
Thanks Terry!! I am really glad that you enjoy participating in the annual rally. It's great to have you there! I just spoke to your brother earlier today on the phone, and I think I might have actually convinced him to come also!

There are a couple other guys I know coming down from Jacksonville/ St. Aug areas. I will try to get them in touch with you so that you can all cruise down together!

Looking for someone from the SFL area to setup a meeting point/time. There are a few folks from Miami / Ft Lauderdale area that would like to cruise up to the rally with others!

Alright so I spoke to Terry earlier this evening, and we have settled on a great meetup point for the Jax / St Augustine area guys.

On the SW corner of I-95 and FL-207, there is an empty parking lot, across the street from a Quality Inn hotel and a Mobil gas station. Please be there at 8:30am so you can roll out by 9am! If you need to get a hold of Terry, please PM him (white944cup).

Here is a google maps view of the location:

Hi Wendell, I don't think I will... however this year the route is going to be extremely short compared to previous years (about a 30 minute drive), all right hand turns, and the pace will be pretty moderate since there will be so many cars. If you stick towards the front of the pack you will probably be a-ok. It's those guys at the tail end that are usually hauling tail to keep up with the rest of the group.

Hey guys, I just got my Rennbay fuel line kit in the mail yesterday. Remember to check your fuel lines for leaks, dry-rot cracks, and bubbles near the fittings! This kit will hopefully protect me from engine fire # 2.

Porsche 944 Fuel Line repair kit, complete.

Travis from Rennbay should have a few fuel line kits available for sale at the swap meet!

Okay folks, for those planning on heading over from "this side" of the state, rally point set at the CB at 0730. When you pull in to location, we typically cluster in the back right corner of the lot.

Who am I missing from this list of folks that I've been in PM/call with:

PeteL
Josh
Rich + some 944 friends
Ralph

Again, I highly recommend getting a sunpass to avoid stopping at the toll plazas and so that we can stay grouped.

For Josh and Rich and others, the CB is on the left hand side, first exit after passing 75... when you turn left onto 579 and go over 75, you will take the first left turn and head "up hill" and hang a left to sneak back to the CB.

If you need to fuel up, take the second left off 579 to hit the gas station!

See you all soon -- if you need to contact me beforehand, PM me or call me!

J

My car sadly won't be ready in time(turned out to not be the rod bearings), but I'll still come to the swap meet in search of parts.
I will also be bringing two guests, so order lots of food.
