So in your opinion would the NON-o2 sensor fuel map provide better results with forced induction?

So are you saying disconnecting the O2 sensor will give me the fuel curve you show? or do I have to change the plug coding on the DME as well.....

This is really fascinating..... I can't believe that it would be such a simple setup. I know people run without the O2 sensor......and we always get the California guys posting that they failed the smog test and to check their O2 sensor....... but running rich will not give you any real noticeable increase in "power"?

What about the drastic drops to 140-145? Loss of power?

can the non-o2 sensor/ cat readings be duplicated or are they just erratic???

Interesting stuff F.R ...........do you sleep with a DME under your pillow?....

Yes, yes he does sleep with a DME under his pillow. For breakfast he eats EPROM Chex.

This is interesting. Could my car have some sort of MAP switching device? My car has this little circuit board with two switches, some LEDS (red, yellow, green) and a buzzer. It had been mounted to the under side of the dash in a plastic case but when I bought the car it was without the case and just stuffed in the back side of the center console. I found it while installing a new stereo. Some of the wires going to it where broken so it wasn't doing anything (ribbon with many wires like what's used for computer drives) so I removed it. I figured it was part of the data aquisition sytem that had been removed from the car.

Anybody know what it could be?
