What would be the best way to prove to my insurance company that my car,...
does not out perform a 968!!! My payment more then doubled!!! The broker said they mst have determined that my car was more of a performance car then a 968. A 968 is worth like 20,000 in good condition? Mine is worth $4000!!! Geez,... I don't know what to do. How would I go about proving that to them?

Fax the February Excellence 944 value article and charts to them... or better yet, get a new insurance company!
Seriously, any automotive web site can quickly give value and performance figures for the two cars. This is a no-brainer. If they resist then the issue is not what's right - it is what they can get away with.

Even if your insurance company listens to you then they will probably just raise the rates on the 968. I think you should shop around. With a car only worth 4000 your insurance is worthless and only serves a purpose of not getting a ticket.

Just found out that its $310 for every 1.5 months for the first 2 payments and every 2 months for the last 3 payments. I am a new driver in their eyes seeing that this is my first time getting insurance on my own. I had insurance under my girlfriend before. So, I drive it out a bit and keep out of trouble. Then I go and shop around.

How's your record? Any tickets or accidents?

Very simple - show them the specifications of your car (188 Hp, 16V 2.5L inline 4, 5 speed) versus a stock 968 (236hp, 16V Vario-cam 3.0L engine 6 speed).
You can also just show them the specs out of your owners manual - it gives all relevant data, to include top speed, torque, 1/4 miles times etc... I would also get a new insurance company AFJuvat
