bad locking lug nut
Does anyone have any suggestion as to what can be done with a bad locking lug nut? I went to take a wheel off today and could not unlock the nut. It seems like there is something stuck in the keyhole but I can't see anything but the key will only go in halfway. Fortunately, I haven't had a reason to have to remove the wheel such as a flat etc. but this has to be taken care of before something would happen. If all else fails, how do I go about getting the locking sleeve off so that I can get the wheel off>

If the locking lug nuts are like these
![]() Then I would lube the key hole and work it with the key (no dirty jokes) (sickos) ![]() if that doesn't do it then you can do this 944 Online Forum - The Porsche 944 Forum For The 944 Enthusiast. Good luck hope this works for you!

3/4" hole saw with no pilot bit is the perfect size to cut off the lug nut without damaging the stud.
As I used to have a few 944 parts cars purchased at auction, I've had to do this a few times. |
