water temp gauge sensor
someone remind me which one of the temp sensors is the one that drives the gauge.
i remember the fan switch is on the radiator. and there's two sensors. one for the gauge and other for the DME. just can't remember which is which. there's two on the block, both two prong. one in front is a blue plastic plug. one behind it is two bare terminals. thanks |

The DME Temp Sensor is the Blue sensor closer to the front of the engine.. The Guage Temp Sensor is about 7 inches further aft ( back toward firewall) and sits well underneath the intake runners. FWIW, I just confirmed the accuracy of my Guage Sensor with an infrared Temp Gun this weekend. Amazing that after 26 years, the factory sensor is dead on...
