muffler hook mistake

I discovered today I am the owner of the muffler hook #13 in this pic:

I discovered this by cutting/drilling/destroying the bolt and hex nut, only to find the bolt is somehow secured to the body at the top - not a captive nut that I know of, not a hex head. it looks like a rounded thin cap.

what is this threaded component? how is it attached? what can replace it?

It's a stud welded to the body.
If it breaks, drill it out and put a bolt in instead.

I just happen to have my exhaust system out.

It it's #9 you're talking about, then...#5 goes over the torque tube, bolts into #6. #8 goes on #6 and #9 hangs from #8.

Here's the new one from Porsche

And if you're referring to #12 they go on a bracket on the body like this

And these are the new ones (#12 and #13) from Porsche

And as Volhv says, #13 is connected with a stud to the bracket. But the bracket can't be removed... Cut the stud, drill a hole and put a bolt through...
