Dash Cap Color
I have an 1984 (obviously an early dash) 944 with a pretty nice interior but a couple of deep to the bone cracks in the dash. I'm thinking of putting a dash cap over it by the interior is that chocolate brown color. Does anyone make a shaker can paint to match the original? I've been looking around, so far, no good-thoughts, suggestions or comments.
Thanks S |

I had a 84 with a brown dash cap and didn't even know it was a cap for a couple of weeks. Color was good.

There is no spray can as far as I know but you can get some SEM colorcoat colormatched and pickup a cheap preval sprayer at a bodyshop supply place which is what I did. I'm pretty sure there are brown dashcaps out there though.
Ooooorrrrr, I have a cheap dashcap for sale. Was black, painted brown. Some heat damage caused by some clown (me) in the center. ![]() ![]() ![]() KC
