sadness

I haven't posted here in a while as other than my son's car which he has at school I don't actually own a 944 anymore - just had too many cars around the house - the white 84 I sold to a college kid - the 83 champagne colored one wound up going to my sister as she really liked the car and wanted a sporty second driver - the car was really pristine body-wise and the Porsche script interior was in great shape - well I'm sorry to report that yet another 944 is dead - last night someone turned right in front of her and the damage looks to be beyond repair - luckily no one was hurt so it's just the car that suffered - here's a picture of it in happier times and one of it after the accident - RIP

That is truly sad, but at least it's only tin that got bent and your sister and everyone else concerned is OK - which is really good news!

All I can say when I see one of these is CRAP! I try not to take it personal but after owning 3 of these cars, I can't help myself.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Glad she wasn't hurt. Looks like the front absorbed a lot energy just like it was supposed to... Shame about the car, it looked nice and was a carbon copy of my old 84 "Goldie" which my brother now enjoys.
