924S w/ M030 comes with which color shocks?

A friend of mine's brother got a 924S w/ the M030 package recently
His shocks were yellow, I thought that the M030 came with red shocks
Am I wrong, or is he right?
That car handles great

M030 came with Bilstiens - they are usually green , but some models did come in Yellow.

Koni Yellow adjustable shocks were an option: #474, "Sport Shock Absorbers." The M030 option was not required for #474.

Was 88 the only year with M030 available on the 924S?
And how do you tell a M030 from one that isn't?
How would you tell by the VIN? Are there any locations in which they list the options on the car?

There should be a sticker in the owners manual with all of the option codes for the car. Also, in the rear of the car, under the carpet, there is another copy of the same sticker.

My Car

Matt, I guess Barry didn't mention that the previous owner put Koni's on when he set it up for autocrossing.

Nope, he didn't
I was making sure that the shocks that came w/ the M030 package were a certain color, so I could ask sellers (who were less informed about their car) to just peek at the color of the shocks
I think I might have found an 88 924S w/ M030, but the seller was away (on her cellphone) and didn't know if it had the M030 or not..I'll call later today
Great car, have fun
