5th swap
Does anybody with a 944 Turbo want a taller 5th gear? I have one but I need to trade for your shorter 5th. I am willing to do the swap if you deliver your gearbox to me in Utah.

Swaping the 5th is a minimally invasive process that is vastly different than an overhaul. I am also not able to properly set up the ring and pinion as I do not have the required tools.
I have done the overhaul for my own use but it required a lot of time and regular inspections after run in. Not something I would do for anybody else.
