How did you know? You are so right. I begged, pleeded and then bought it behind her back. She still brings that up. I think if I bought a bike she would kill me. No, I know she would kill me. Thom |

hehe...I'm from NJ, and know the location of every clip shown in the Sopranos opening credits. No, I'm not mofia (they don't exsist, but if they did, they're the best bunch of guys I know!) I just lurk occasionally on the 911 board... Welcome to the water-cooled DARK side...muhahahaha.... -Z.

Yeah, I've seen that video series.....I can't stand to watch such idiocy! I used to ride streetbikes 20+ years ago (was sole mode of transportation for 4 years!). We're a dirtbike family now, and I still go over to the bike shops often for parts and/or check out new stuff....and I hear of many that come in and buy a 600-1200cc crotch rocket with nary a lesson in riding and total it within a day! People, man.....

			Sweet video!!

I actually clocked an old roomate of mine at 108 on 1 wheel on his zx-10! He was from Wyoming so they didn't have anything else to do but ride in straight lines and pull wheelies. I used to do the endo-to-wheelie stunt on my GSXR, it's actually quite easy.......all balance. I grew up on dirt bikes though which are much better for learning tricks on......doesn't cost as much when you drop 'em. My wife would "kill" me if i tried to get another street bike.

I actually went to a Yamaha dealership and checked out the R6 (I think it was called) and checked to see what monthly payments would be......spoke to the wife the next day and she didn't talk to me for the rest of the day, so I figured out pretty quick what her answer was. Which is why we have dirtbikes.....can't agree more that it is much safer to dump these things..especially with boots, chest protectors and, get this, helmets!! I've done stoppies many times and flew over a time or two.....no problems ( except to the ego )

You don't understand, its one or the other! If I go with a 951,... I'm gonna go all out and spend all my money and time on this car so I can push like 400+ to the rear wheels. Thats alot of money and time! Then I can go with a nice GSXR1000 or a sweet R1 for like less then half the price of everything im gonna do to the car. Also, if I get the bike I can go back to college sooner, that has been on my mind alot lately too. WHAT DO I DO!!!

No competition...............the car. Bikes are fun for awhile, but they grow old fast. I rode them for @ 10 years and as my sole transportation for 3-4 years =( There are really only a few months out of the year when a bike is even enjoyable.
