fuel pump relay
jumped relay with y jumper fuel pump works put in new relay the question is does fuel pump only run when starting.also put new ign switch in how should I check for spark and fue lthanks bob

You can buy a spark tester at your local FLAPS, or do the more shadetree version and take the spark plug out, plug it back into the boot, and ground it against the head and crank the engine. If you do this, MAKE SURE TO DISABLE THE FUEL PUMP. Or have a fire extinguisher handy.
Or just buy the tester. They're cheap.

That's good it works. Yes it will run when engine is cranking and running as well. recommend Clark's Garage test procedures which are straight forward. Clark's Garage Shop Manual Index Keep us posted, later...
