re
i usually use the krikit tool. it has served me well for the last 14 years.
im not sure, but i think its 40ft/lbs for a new timing belt and 28ft/lbs for used, after 1500 miles. balance is 35 ft/lbs i think. can anyone give me the correct settings please! thanks in advance.

I have no issues with these tools but have never used them, the 180 degree twist test on the belt works even if you have used your tension tool, most people find the balance belt rather loose even set with the factory tool or yours.
I rechecked new belts 3 times until I was happy, they do stretch more than many think from my experience anyway, besides it really is fairly easy to do,cheers.
