fuel guage on 87 na
fuel guage and tach are out. First, I have checked the resistence at the fuel sending unit and get a good readout. can i check the mechanism inside the fuel tank without too much problem. do i have to bleed the fuel lines or can i clamp them off temporarily while i take out the fuel sending unit assembly? Second, the tach is out but the shift up indicator is working ok. Where is the sending unit for the tach? Is it on the flywheel or the distributor or what? If you have any pictures it would help.

CHeck all of your electrical connections/grounds on the back side/behind the instrument cluster
