944 front spolier from gt-racing
Just received the front spoiler from gt-racing for my 1987 944. I was surprised to see no holes in the fiberglass spoiler but figured I would just have to drill them myself. The problem is that above the turnsignal blinker the lip of the spolier is not wide enough that if you were to drill holes it would be flush with the body. Am i missing something here. Anyone have any experience with spoiler 242 from gt-racing? Thanks.

they suck
I had an 87 951. I ordered the fiberglass front fenders and nose from GT Racing. When they arraived, they damn near did not fit the car and the gel coat had sunk into the fiberglass, leaving a rough texture. GT immeadiately blamed the shop, but since they do fiberglass / carbon fiber work for Ferrari's and Porsche's all the time, the location of blame is obvious.
I am very disappointed in GT Racing. A frind of mine ordered a front fender and nose cover to make repair damage more affordable. He had similar problems. It will be interesting to see if they step up to the plate or if they have decided to go for the "short term financial kill" regarding customers. Maybe he is nearing retirement... While GT has enjoyed a good reputation, many of the folks I have talked with lately have been very disappointed in thier product and customer service. I see a trend here...
