			Hi Frank,

Did you ever figure this issue out? I have the same problem on my 88. I'm wondering if it could be a simple ground wire? I'm also having an issue with brake lights not working. I have cleaned all connections and got tail lights reverse lights and blinkers back but, still no brake light. Fuse is new and clean. My next step was to check the brake pedal switch when it occurred to me, maybe there's a ground under the dash that connects both issues? ANYBODY PLEASE HELP! |

Ground wire could cause it. The DME ground wires are on the engine block and bell housing next to the speed sensor(s)

Is it possible that the connector on the back of the instrument cluster has loosened? Do any of the indicators work in the gauge cluster?

3 944's, 2 Boxsters and one Caman S, and now one 951 turbo. Really miss the Cayman. Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved. |
