Removing rear spacer

I'm going to replace the rear pads and rotors on my 83. I have an aluminum spacer.

Question: I sprayed some WD 40 around the perimeter. Is there any trick to remove this?

Much thanks.

Is it bolted on? How thick is it? If it's just slid over the studs for the wheel, Use a propane torch to heat it overall and then use a soft mallet to hit it all around to loosen it from its surface of the hub. I've had success with putty knives hammered into the junction between the hub and the spacer after I heated it. Hopefully no one applied a glue or sealant to it before it was last installed. Also get some Nut Blaster and spray it around the studs before heating it. WD40 isn't effective enough a penetrant.

Some people try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Not bolted - Never been removed. I will use nut blaster.

Thanks!

A few whacks from a dead blow hammer should be enough.

apply some WD/40
.40 or like substance , and tap around the outer part with a hammer...if all else fails u can use a thin chisel to trap around the outer edge to get it lifted. but watch not to damage the aluminum.
