AOS Disassembly
I'm looking for some guidance on disassembly of my AOS to replace the internal O ring. How is the cap removed? Threads, press fit, bayonette? I'd like to do this without destroying the thing. It's a suspect in my lack of idle mystery. Thanks in advance.

There is a clip at each of the 6 slots in the cap, gently prying each clip will pop it off. I have a part number for that o ring I can give you tomorrow

Thank you, that would be great. Any wisdom regarding the idle issue? Could it be a failed O ring seal in this separator could cause a no idle condition?

If it won't idle it's more likely a broken/missing hose somewhere, it has to be a fair substantial air leak to not idle at all.
Even a torn J-boot will still run, like ****, but it will run. |

I still have an extra o-ring that will fit the inside of the AOS cap, I had to buy a 10 pack and sent the extras off to forum users who wanted them.
I can mail you one for $1 shipped PM me.(you only need 1 but this shows the fitment)
