When I depress the snowflake on my dash, the light only comes on for a milisec, and that's it. I have no air.. I dunno what my AC is doing either.. so, I don't really have any advice.. I'm just gonna join you on the bench..

Frank, your AC switch sounds bad. The engine should lose some rpm when you turn on AC switch. You can see if clutch is engaging by looking at it when someone else hits the switch. I'd get switch out and manually touch wires together to see if switch is bad. Light should remain on like it does for recirc. swithc and defroster switch.
Try your defroster switch. I believe it turns on AC also along with heat, blower at full blast. That way you'll know if it is switch. Andrew, did you use pressure gages when you recharged? Was it working before you charged it? |
