I'm not in the Phoenix area, but USPS is cheap! I daily an '84 944 and would be happy to help with beta testing.

I'll volunteer my 1984 944 NA for your project. I do however live in Hannibal, MO. It might be nice to test your product in a different climate setting than Arizona. Believe me - it's a "wet" heat here. Thanks for your consideration.

It doesn't look like he has been on PP lately. I just hope that's because he's hard at work making the relay.

Update
The Solid-State DME relay project is alive and well, all of the Beta Testers are reporting back with no issues. The design has been finalized and we are moving into the production phase. I will reserve a relay from the first batch for everyone who requested one prior to this posting. I am estimating the first production units will be available in one to two months.

Sounds great! Am looking forward to buying one of the relays. Thank you for all your effort.
Is the timing circuit that primes the fuel pump still part of the design? Also was wondering.... Since the Rogue NA-Tune seems to be "dead in the water" would you be considering putting some of those into production? |

Just an FYI... there is a guy out of silicon valley selling solid state DME relays. He is supposed to be a firmware engineer who is also a Porsche owner. I'll see if I can get his info and post it on Pelican.

If you want to announce someone else's Solid State Relay please do it on a separate thread.
Thanks! |

I have been in contact with Ftech9, and will most likely be selling his relays on my website as well. He IS still working on them, and a price is not yet set. Things like this take a lot of work to make, and a lot of time to produce. But he is working on them, and I don't think we have too much longer to wait.

Solid-State DME Relays Now Available!
I am pleased to announce the Solid-State DME Relay is now for sale at Focus 9 Technology, LLC. It is available as a stock replacement or with the additional “Pump-Prime” Feature. I would like to thank everyone for their interest and support in making this product a reality. I hope this will be the first of many new products to come.

Installed my new SS relay with the Pump Prime today and it works great. Love the Fuel Pump Prime feature. My car now starts in about 1 second of cranking instead of 2 - 2.5 seconds.
Judging by the carbon on the contacts of the old original relay it replaced I am glad to have made the switch. Thanks much Joel. PS Any chance there might be a Rogue NA Tune coming??? |
