LR Stainless fuel hoses

I put the stainless steel braided fuel hoses from Lindsey Racing on my '87 944 and I loved them. Does anyone know if this same kit would work on a 924S? I emailed LR and havent got a reply back. I am not sure if they are going to be long enough.

Yes....
BUT....to make enough space by brake booster the fuel line clips must be removed to bend at rear of car.
This was the worst part of the project!!
Do not try to pry the clips, the pins they are set on may break......cut the clips.
Pelican has the correct clips....order the clips that tell you they may not fit 924s.....they are the exact replacement.
I'll get p/n.
Cheers

One more thought...when you cut old fuel line, cut as close to transition fitting as possible.

You are welcome.......
it's good to have fuel go into engine, not onto engine.....

So you are saying every fuel line clip from the engine bay back needs to be cut and replaced?

Pretty much.
I removed the clips until I felt comfortable that I had enough space to make the cuts
and get a wrench on the compression fittings. I think I was able to leave the clip just forward of the bend that goes toward the filter. If I recall correctly.
The steel fuel lines are quite rigid.
PITA does not do it justice...........

Bradical, did you replace the lines from the tank all the way to the FPR? I am considering doing the same thing with my crusty fuel lines.

No, I didn't replace the hard lines, just the old rubber hoses and the rail jumper.
