Hi all,
I have been trying to find the issue with Fuse 11 immediately shorting on my 87 944S. Many have suggested the glove box but this wasn't the culprit. I have removed every component connected to the line (at the same time).
I even pulled the block from the fuse panel and tested the leads. The GN wire has continuity to ground so I am guess that is where the problem is. According to the wiring charts this goes to something called "Buzzer Contact". Where the heck is that? If I cannot locate it I plan or removing the green wire from the block and see if that solves the issue. Chris Last edited by cvrrally; 10-14-2015 at 06:31 AM.. |

I'll recheck. I forgot to mention I did pull those and still blew the fuse. They do work for activating the gong but I do want to recheck for the lights. Still though GN does not go to the doors, just to the "Buzzer Contact"...whatever that is.
