Help mysterious problem please!!!!
Hi, I need help please, I swear I was young and have broken almost anything on a 944 turbo, BUT this new problem is weird and before I try to diagnose, maybe sum one ran into it.........the car turns on, but when cltch is engaged it turns of, if you balance the clutch and gas it goes will run though very difficult and bad for the car I dont drive it.can someone help, give insight and theories....i belive its a lose flywheel.thanks.

Sounds like your clutch is gone. You can inspect the clutch by checking the wear indication inside the inspection hole in the bottom of the bell housing (see Clarks Garage for info). Also if it's a rubber centered clutch, pieces of the rubber will be inside the inspection hole. Use your finger inside to find pieces of rubber.

The 944 turbo shouldn't have a rubber centered clutch but I agree, it sounds like something is wrong in the clutch area.

The little springs in the clutch disc can fall out and jam things.
