no vacuum at heater control valve 944S2
Heater control valve is open by default spring pressure and closes with vacuum. I have no vacuum going to the valve.
It seems like this vacuum circuit controls other items as well judging from the presence of a Y- splitter if I remember correctly. Anyone have a vacuum system diagram for the S2?

I checked today, pulled glove box out and it's similar but not the same.
Anyway it was a false alarm, heater control valve is closed only at full cold at temperature dial. Even one notch of heat will return it to full open. Had no real problem to begin with, however the air temperature does fluctuate slightly now and then. No air trapped in coolant but found a bit of dust on the cabin temperature sensor. Since the glove box was out etc. I cleaned the sensor and sensor fan. For reference two vacuum hoses going into HVAC unit - top hose is engine vacuum, bottom is heater control valve. Two solenoids controlling flaps and heater control valve: bottom solenoid is for heater control.
